So, there you are--Day 3 of rain, deep into the heart of your Camino, shoes soaked, feet freezing, and you're starting to wonder if "squishy" is the new normal. Sound familiar, fellow peregrino? As you can imagine, walking for hours a day & for weeks on end can have a rather dramatic effect on your midsection...YAY! BUT, while that would typically be awesome you have a new problem; your hip belt is no longer proving effective and your pack is no longer supported by your hips. Sigh...

The Camino, despite all the romantic notions it evokes, is not all wine and roses, um...I mean poppies, and that's ok! After all, it's a pilgrimage! I also understand everyone is different and have different tastes and opinions (and diets), these are just mine.
